New brand discovery

A new series where I share and discuss a brand new brand I would've recently discovered, along with some of my favourite pieces.
Kicking off with a brand all the way from down under - Rebecca Vallance loves bows, structure and colour, as do I!
It was actually the Outnet where I discovered the brand thanks to the most beautiful dress I found on sale. Highly reduced from £425 down to £234, this bubblegum pink crepe midi dress with a statement bow shoulder caught my eye straight away! It honestly made my heart race - the perfect occasion dress! The colour is a perfect pink for me - not too neon (very important for me!), not too pale, just bright enough and sophisticated in tone. I adore a crepe fabric for how flattering and giving it is, and I love a statment shoulder, wether that be a ruffled shoulder or in this case, a very big bow!

Although I've obviously browsed the Outnet before, This Rebecca Vallance dress was actually my first purchase from there, so an extra 15% discount was given - I paid £198 for the most beautiful, exciting piece I've seen in a very long time. A piece that honestly, no word of a lie, made my heart skip a beat.
It fits wonderfully, looks just as good on as it does off and it'll be perfect for so many occasions. For me, it's definitely a timeless occasion piece - a style that I'll love for a long time that will be perfect for weddings, christenings, the races and occasions galore. A bit of a splurge, but so worth it - for the dress, but also for discovering the quality of this new designer. There's no doubt that it's a piece which slots wonderfully into my style and will do for a very, very long time.
I've of course added it to my app and made it into a look - this is my favourite one which I've created but there'll be multiple ways for me to style this up for various occasions. What do you think? I've added the look to my occasion-wear dresses folder. I knew I'd want to wear it with gold, and these gorgeous hair grips with hints of pink, purple and gold add a pop of more colour and more fun to this stunning dress. I honestly can't wait to wear this entire look as well as make more - just need the occasions to wear it now! Baby sensory maybe? Maybe not...

I've obviosuly really looked into the brand since buying, and oh my gosh! I actually think there's not much else on the market similar to these designs - I'd say it's quite unique.
Right up my street with the femininity in colours, prints, bows, boucle and trims, all juxtaposed with pieces that are smart, have structure, ooze power and pack some punch.
Rebecca Vallence has perfected the art of balancing femininity with fierceness - the brand advocates themselves as one for the "modern woman" which emits the entire feel really accurately. Classic shapes and designs with pangs of updated, current details to maintain relevance. Combining direction with elegance and timelessness neatly intertwined with on trend, fashionable details.
The brand is Australian, and set up by Rebecca Vallance herself. Premium quality and designer in price - but attainable at the same time. Dresses start from around $300 and go up to just over $1000. Luxurious but accessible for the rare treat if designer isn't your normal price point - and what a treat Rebecca Vallance is! Ordering to here in the UK direct from the official website based over in Australia means you have to spend a minimum of around the equivalent to £135, but the brand is available from various stockists such as My Theresa, Net-a-Porter, Fartfetch, Neiman Marcus and Harvey Nichols to name a few. Also, considering the minimum amount of £135 is around the same price as a minimum-priced piece, I'd say it's pretty reasonable.
I'm a firm believer that there's a right way and a wrong way to do bows - I'm all for the right way, but the wrong way does make my toes curl...
The wrong way can look tacky, un-classy, immature and childish, whilst the right way alludes sophistication, timelessness, class and fun femininity. Again, Rebecca Vallance knows how to do a bow - the right way.
Here are some of my favourite bow-featured pieces:
Some beautifully striking prints and vibrant colour palettes make up the Resort/Swim 22 collection. It may be considered last season now for us, but these pieces are divine for summer days and holidays for years to come, and if theyr'e anything to go by, the next resort collection will be just as exquisite. The brand thankfully offer different lengths in the same prints and styles, and different pieces in the same prints, giving so much variation and plenty of choice. If you're spending this money on clothing, you want it to be perfect, so the offer of different shapes and styles in a print mean you really do buy the piece that's perfect for you. When you want to buy into a design, a colour or a print within this brand, you literally have a choice on what length you want to buy it in, what style and what colour. I just love carefully considered options - and love all of the below too!
Some other ready to wear pieces I'd add to my wardrobe in a flash if I could - what do you think of everything? How truly cohesive and colourful, structured, powerful and feminine are these pieces and this brand?!
Honestly, what a brand - I feel so thankful to have discovered Rebecca Valance and I think I'll have to splurge and treat myself to more pieces again in the future. I'm generally a high street shopper, a mid-market brand enthusiast, but I have a handful of designer pieces I've splurged on. So, if a brand makes it into this very exclusive collection of designer pieces within my wardrobe, then they are very special - and Rebecca Valance really is!
